Congratulations to our chess team members for a great showing at the Caissa’s Conquest tournament in West Plains today! Our elementary won 1st place, with Heidi Bennet the undefeated champion, Kane Bennet in 3rd, Jase Barker 5th, Raye Schmitt 12th. Middle school won top honors as well, with Matt Sabulao the undefeated winner, Kyell Robertson in 5th, Ayden Bennet in 6th, Sabastian Puher in 10th, Wyatt Barker in 14th, Otto Schuette in 17th, and Aubrey Miller 20th. High school was second overall, with Rogan Traver tied for 1st, and Isaac Miller, Vivienne Iacovleva, and Sophia Barrett tied for 11th. Great job! Next chess tournament is February 25th in Salem.
