The Willow Springs School District celebrated its 5th annual MoBeef Days. Five years ago, the district received its first donation of local beef and ever since, thanks to generous local farmers and processors, students have been able to enjoy locally sourced beef, shared Regina Roberts, Food Service Director.
To celebrate, each grade level received either a coloring page or a stress relief cow, and our local FFA Officers gave a short presentation about beef. Students also had the opportunity to dress like a farmer for the day.
A special thank you to L & V Meats for donating the stress relief cows and coloring pages, and to Adam Webb for providing lunch for our officers.
