The Willow Springs School District is proud to announce two new head coaching hires for the 2026 to 2027 school year.
James Lee Named Head Boys Basketball Coach
The district has named James Lee as the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Willow Springs High School.
Lee is in his 12th year in education and coaching and holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s Degree in Administration. He previously served as head coach at Liberty for three years and is currently the Strength and Conditioning Coach at Willow Springs High School, as well as an assistant football coach.
“I am very fortunate to have been part of this program for the last three years and look forward to continuing to build the program in Bear Country,” said Lee.
Dawn Gastineau Named Head Volleyball Coach
The district has also named Dawn Gastineau as the Head Volleyball Coach.
Gastineau is in her 7th year in education and her 1st year teaching second grade in the Willow Springs School District. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Literacy. She was previously an assistant softball coach at Mountain View Birch Tree.
“It is an honor to coach a sport I am passionate about,” said Gastineau. “I am excited to get to know the girls, watch them grow, and prepare for the season.”
