The Willow Springs High School Ag Department has recently received two grants totally $15,000. The first grant is a $10,000 MAESTRO Grant from the Missouri Department of Agriculture. This money will be used to install an efficient HVAC System, insulated doors, weather seals, drop down ceiling, water efficient irrigation systems, and more.
The second grant is from the Missouri Farmers Association for $5,000. This grant will be used to update the plant science curriculum by modernizing the current greenhouses through the installation of irrigation controls, capillary matting, hydroponics, and more.
